Play-off Format

Determining standings – If teams have same number of points, breaking the tie will be determined by;
1. Record against each other
2. If each team won one game, then the team that earned the most points within divisional games will take the higher seed. (placing)
3. If two teams had the same number of points (#2), the team that allowed the fewest goals in all 12 regular season games will take the higher seed.

From Final Standings:

1st and 2nd place teams have a bye to the semi-finals.

Quarter Finals:  Series 1-3rd plays 6th place, Series 2-4th plays 5th place,  best 2 of 3

Semi Finals: Winner Series 1 and Winner Series 2 play the 1st and  2nd Place Teams. Series 3-1st place team plays the lowest seeded team of the winners from Series 1 and 2, based on regular season standings.   Series 4-2nd place team plays the second lowest seeded team of the winners from Series 1 and 2, based on regular season standings, best 2 of 3

(For example, if 3rd place beats 6th place in Series 1 and 5th place beats 4th place in Series 2, then 1st place will play 5th place in the semi-final series and 2nd place will play 3rd place.  But, if 6th place beats 3rd place in Series 1 and 5th place beats 4th place in Series 2, then 1st place will play 6th place and 2nd place will play 5th place.)

Final Series:  Winner Series 3 plays Winner Series 4, best 2 of 3

Scheduling will favor the team who finished higher in the regular season standings. They will have home floor advantage hosting the 2nd and 3rd game (if necessary).
